About MAJKIWOOD
At MajkiWood, all of my products are handmade with care, using local wood that I personally source, collect, and transport. Living in the heart of a forest, my workshop is right next door, ensuring that every piece I create is truly local and sustainably sourced.
I am passionate about working with my hands and crafting beautiful, functional items from natural materials. Many of my products, like spoons, spatulas, and ladles, are made entirely by hand using traditional tools such as carving knives, chisels, and sanding paper—lots of sanding paper!
For bowls and plates, I turn to my favorite tool—the lathe. It allows me to shape the wood with precision, removing layers and revealing the unique beauty within each piece. After shaping, every item is finished by hand with fine sanding to ensure a smooth, pleasant touch.
To protect the wood and make it safe for food contact, I apply a natural oil finish. With proper care, my wooden products are designed to last a lifetime. Simply store them in a dry place, wash by hand with lukewarm water, and avoid dishwashers, direct sunlight, or extreme temperature changes. If your bowl or plate starts to lose its luster, a quick rub of cooking oil will restore its beauty.
At MajkiWood, I’m proud to offer handcrafted pieces that connect you with nature, created from wood that’s as unique as the story behind it.
